1. Who we are
Surway is a trading name of North Home Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15124123), registered office 43 Northfield Park, Hayes, UB3 4NU. Contact: info@surway.co.uk, 07857 206841. These terms apply to every purchase made through surway.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. What we sell
We sell digital measured-survey data for UK properties, supplied as PDF and/or DXF files containing floor plans and elevations, and we accept requests for new measured surveys to be quoted separately. Product listings describe what each file contains. Files are produced from survey data held by us and are supplied for the purpose of planning, design and building work at the property concerned.
3. Ordering and account
You must create an account and be logged in to purchase. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. An order is accepted only when we email you an order confirmation; until then we may decline any order.
4. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. North Home Design Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Payment is taken in full at checkout by card through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
5. Delivery
Existing survey data is released to the Downloads area of your account immediately after payment; by placing the order you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the right to cancel ends once the files are released. If you requested a survey, we deliver the files within 2 to 5 working days of the site visit and email you when they are ready. Download access remains available for one year from the date the files are released. See our Delivery policy.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation rights, including the position on digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are set out in our Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Licence and intellectual property
All survey drawings and data remain the property of North Home Design Ltd. On payment you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files for the design, planning and construction of works at the property named in the order, and to share them with your professional advisers (architects, engineers, contractors, local planning authority) for that purpose. You may not resell, republish or distribute the files, or use them for any other property.
8. Accuracy and limits of liability
Measured surveys are produced with reasonable skill and care to the accuracy stated in the listing. They are a record of the building as found on the survey date and must be verified on site before being relied on for construction. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or indirect loss.
9. New survey requests
Where no data is available you may request a survey. We will send a written quotation, which includes a site visit. A separate contract is formed only when you accept that quotation in writing.
10. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the version in force when you order applies to that order.
